*I have a safe car (a Volvo sedan) I have an excellent driving record with Zero accidents & no demerits in 40 years of driving. *My most recent experience has been caring for a 10 week old baby & his 2 1/2 yr old brother which I really enjoyed until the family left Victoria to go travelling in Australia. The Mum has given me an excellent reference I can share with you. 😁 Hi Families, ✨ It's so lovely to meet you here!✨ I've been working exclusively as a Nanny for over 14 years now yet I have a lifetime of experience caring for infants from newborn, toddlers & up to teens. I am the 1st born of 5 children & was very hands on helping my parents with my younger siblings as my Mother worked as a Nursing Sister & my Father was often traveling overseas in his job as an International Airline Captain. As was common in those days I was left home alone caring for my siblings with the youngest only a baby as she is 12 years younger than me. I have 30 1st cousins so I've been surrounded by children all my life. I've studied Nursing & did Paramedic training as well as working in the Medical field being employed in 3 Melbourne hospitals & several Doctor's Surgeries. All up I've been working in the Medical field for 18 years. I have my WWCC & have done my First Aid Certificate. I have excellent checkable references & my last long-term position involved caring for 2 pre-schoolers for a 2 year term. More recently I cared for 2 young boys of 5 & 11 with the older boy having special needs. I enjoy all age groups as children can teach us so much & I love their enthusiasm for the World around them.. it's infectious!

Hi there 👋 I’m 24 and have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I grew up on a family farm with five siblings, so caring for others, pitching in, and keeping busy has always been second nature to me. From a young age, I learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and teamwork—and I carry those values into the way I care for children today. For the past four years, I’ve worked as a nanny for a family with three children, supporting them with school runs, homework, playtime, meal prep, and bedtime routines. When the kids were happy and occupied, I’d also help with household tasks like tidying, laundry, or preparing meals—always keeping the children’s safety and happiness first. I’ve also gained lots of experience babysitting during weddings and special events, caring for children of all ages and making sure they felt safe, included, and entertained throughout busy days. In 2023 and 2024, I spent my summers as a counsellor at Camp Walden in New York, working with large groups of children in a fun, fast-paced environment. I loved creating activities, supporting children emotionally, and building strong bonds. In 2024, I was honoured to be awarded Counsellor of the Year out of 200 staff, which was a real highlight for me. Families describe me as caring, reliable, and fun. I love the outdoors, arts and crafts, storytime, and finding creative ways to keep children engaged. I’m currently based in South Melbourne and have flexible availability. I’d love to get to know your family and help your children thrive. 💛

Hi dear families, my name is Mery Arroyo from Colombia. Last year I completed my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care at Acacia Fitzroy Crèche Centre. During my placement, I spent two weeks in each room (babies, toddlers, pre-kinder, and kinder). I was fortunate to be trusted with responsibilities such as changing nappies, assisting with feeding babies, maintaining clean and organized rooms after meals, and setting up toys and learning spaces. I also planned activities for the children and actively participated in all of them. My priority has always been the safety and wellbeing of every child in my care. I received excellent feedback from the centre director and the entire team, which I truly appreciate. Currently, I am studying my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I recently completed the first part of my placement (120 hours) at Guardian Prahran Centre, where I also received very positive feedback from the room leader, parents, centre director, and staff, which was very rewarding. I love movement and being active, so I won’t just sit and watch your children play. I truly enjoy engaging with them, playing together, and supporting their development. By the way, they usually get tired before I do 😄 Thank you very much for the opportunity to contribute and play a small part in the care and wellbeing of your children. As an added benefit, I can also support your children in learning Spanish at no additional cost.

Hi families! 👋🏼 My name is Orlaith and I’m a qualified primary teacher from Ireland who has recently relocated to Melbourne. I’m a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic caregiver who genuinely loves caring for children and supporting their development in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment ✨. Alongside my teaching background, I have many years of hands-on experience nannying and babysitting children of all ages, from small babies to older children. Back home in Ireland, I also worked with a professional nannying agency, which strengthened my ability to adapt quickly to different family dynamics, routines, and parenting styles while always maintaining the highest standards of care. With my background in education and childcare, I bring a calm, structured, and caring approach to every role. I understand the importance of routines, patience, and positive reinforcement in helping children feel secure, confident, and happy 🤗. I’m confident caring for multiple children at once and supporting everything from feeding, nap times, and bedtime routines to homework help, school runs, and engaging play. I’m highly responsible, organised, and attentive, and I always prioritise a child’s safety and wellbeing. I love planning age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, learning, and fun — whether that’s arts and crafts, reading, outdoor play, or imaginative games — while also being mindful of each child’s individual needs 🧩. Families often describe me as kind, trustworthy, and dependable. I take great pride in being someone parents can fully rely on and someone children feel comfortable, happy, and safe around. Clear communication with parents and respect for each family’s values and routines are very important to me. I’m excited to meet lovely families in Melbourne and would love the opportunity to provide high-quality, professional, and genuinely caring support in your home 🥰. I look forward to becoming a trusted and positive presence in your child’s life and your family’s routine!
