Hi all, I am a special needs teacher from Ireland living in Melbourne. I am enthusiastic, kind, loving and caring. Willing to help around the house, cook, help with homework and do bed night routine. Previously looked after children of different ages and have worked and looked after children with special needs. Experienced with: - Autism - Down syndrome - ADHD - Global development delay - Speech delay - Learning difficulties e.g dyslexia - Toileting - Meal support - Self care support - Physical support (wheelchair) - Administrating medication Available after school- 5:00pm onwards during the week, weekends and school holidays. Childcare Experience
I have been looking after children for most of my life from looking after younger siblings/cousins, family friends and neighbours. I am willing to work with all ages and needs that are required for the role. As a special needs teacher I love seeing the small milestones being achieved by all. Love to have fun and make sure that children enjoy their time when I am with them.
Tutoring Experience
Have been tutoring within school setting for a year. Subjects: - History - Humanities/ Geography - English as a second language I have a masters degree in teaching and have done courses to help students understand English if it is their second language and student with dyslexia.
