Hi, I’m Ramona. I’m currently in my second year of a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Deakin University, with both tutoring and babysitting experience. This means I can not only care for children but also support their learning and development. I love keeping kids engaged with activities like reading books, baking cookies and cupcakes, doing crafts, and playing games. I’m also happy to prepare healthy meals, assist with homework, and help with light housework to keep your home running smoothly. I’m patient, loving, and caring, with a genuine passion for creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children. Whether it’s providing enriching activities, a calm and secure atmosphere, or simply an extra set of reliable hands, I’m here to support your family’s needs.
I have experience working with children of various ages. I have volunteered as a Sunday school teacher for toddlers, where I supported early learning through play based activities and supervision. I have also provided mathematics tutoring for school aged children, helping them build confidence and understanding in their studies. Additionally, I have been babysitting in Australia for the past six months, caring for children ranging from infants to Grade School age. Through these roles, I have developed skills in child engagement, patience, safety awareness, and age appropriate communication.
I have experience as a mathematics tutor for school-aged children, where I supported students with homework, explained concepts in an age-appropriate way, and helped strengthen their problem solving skills. I focused on building confidence, improving understanding, and adapting my teaching approach to suit each child’s learning pace and needs.
