Hi families! 👋🏼 My name is Orlaith and I’m a qualified primary teacher from Ireland who has recently relocated to Melbourne. I’m a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic caregiver who genuinely loves caring for children and supporting their development in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment ✨. Alongside my teaching background, I have many years of hands-on experience nannying and babysitting children of all ages, from small babies to older children. Back home in Ireland, I also worked with a professional nannying agency, which strengthened my ability to adapt quickly to different family dynamics, routines, and parenting styles while always maintaining the highest standards of care. With my background in education and childcare, I bring a calm, structured, and caring approach to every role. I understand the importance of routines, patience, and positive reinforcement in helping children feel secure, confident, and happy 🤗. I’m confident caring for multiple children at once and supporting everything from feeding, nap times, and bedtime routines to homework help, school runs, and engaging play. I’m highly responsible, organised, and attentive, and I always prioritise a child’s safety and wellbeing. I love planning age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, learning, and fun — whether that’s arts and crafts, reading, outdoor play, or imaginative games — while also being mindful of each child’s individual needs 🧩. Families often describe me as kind, trustworthy, and dependable. I take great pride in being someone parents can fully rely on and someone children feel comfortable, happy, and safe around. Clear communication with parents and respect for each family’s values and routines are very important to me. I’m excited to meet lovely families in Melbourne and would love the opportunity to provide high-quality, professional, and genuinely caring support in your home 🥰. I look forward to becoming a trusted and positive presence in your child’s life and your family’s routine! Hi families! My name is Charlotte, and I’m a 22-year-old final year student at RMIT University, studying Fashion Marketing. I’m a bubbly, creative individual with a passion for working with children and helping them grow in a fun, nurturing environment. I graduated from Lauriston Girls School in Armadale in 2020, completing the International Baccalaureate. I have over five years of experience caring for children aged 8 months to 12 years. I’m confident with nappy changes, bottle feeds, adapting to different sleep schedules, and creating a stimulating environment that meets the needs of each child, as I know every little one is different. My childcare style emphasises creating an engaging environment tailored to each child’s interests and needs. I enjoy organising hands-on activities, whether it’s arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, or storytime. I also love incorporating learning into play and can support homework and academic development for school-aged kids. One unique aspect of my caregiving is that I’m trilingual, with my first language being English but also being able to speak Mandarin and Cantonese. I enjoy pilates, tennis, skiing traveling, playing with my pets, exploring Melbourne’s parks and spending time with my family and friends. I believe the key to successful childcare is communication and trust, and I’m dedicated to working closely with families to ensure their children feel safe, happy, and supported. I’d be delighted to support your family - please feel free to reach out! 😊

Dear Host Family, Hi, How are you? I hope you’re doing well. First, let me briefly introduce myself. My name is Marina Yamamoto and I’m from Nagoya Japan. I used to live in the United States for 2 years. I was taking care of 2 boys(5&8years old) and 3 girls(4,7,10 years old) I was an au pair! I’m a very hardworking and trustworthy person. My child care experience is fun and exciting, I have experience in volunteering and after-school care. I took care of a total of 70 children. And that's a total of 2390 hours. Children's ages range from 2 to 14 years. I played with the children, helped with their homework, made various things with origami, went to the park and play there, and saw the cherry blossoms. And of course, we take care of them and keep an eye on them all the time. I like taking care of kids because they are so cute I also learned something with every kid that I’ve taken care of. If you are interested in Japanese culture, I can teach you the correct pronunciation of Japanese, the order of writing kanji, and calligraphy. Many Japanese people have an accent, but I can speak the standard language. I studied at a voice actor school for about 3 years, so I can speak beautiful Japanese. I took very strict lessons to become a voice actress, so I don't have any bad sounds in Japanese. And I can speak the Osaka dialect and Nagoya dialect because of my parents' influence. Let's study together if we have the opportunity. Nowadays, I have many opportunities to teach kanji in after-school care, so I am also good at teaching hiragana, katakana, and kanji. In addition, I have been learning calligraphy for about 15 years, so I can write beautiful Japanese. I would be happy if I could share more about my life experience with you. I'm looking forward to meeting and talking with you. I think I meet all the criteria for becoming a nanny. I promise to share my knowledge with your children and do my best to help your kid to grow as an independent and strong child like me. I am planning to go to school for EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION. I hope to see you soon. Thank you very much.

Hi! My name is Grace Crighton and I am 25 years old. I’ve had the privilege of working with many families, caring for children from 5 months old through to teenagers. I’m the eldest of three, with a seven year age gap between myself and my youngest sibling, which meant I spent many of my teenage years as a second mum to him and his friends, giving me over 9 years of childminding experience. Some of my nannying experience includes caring for a beautiful 10 month old girl on a regular basis for six months, and being an au pair in Miami for a 6 month old boy during my gap year. Since early 2022, I’ve worked with an incredible family with two boys, now 4 and 6. I was lucky enough to travel around the world with them for two months, caring for the boys full time. This included managing their full daily routines from wake up to bedtime, as well as occasional overnight care while their parents were away, navigating sleep deprivation and jet lag included. I now assist with school drop offs and pick ups, bedtimes, and fill our days with baking, adventures, storytelling and plenty of beach time. I’ve also worked in the creche at my local pilates studio, caring for babies as young as 8 weeks and confidently managing up to five children at a time I enjoy going out for walks, spending time at the beach (I’ve recently taken up surfing), reading and baking, and love to share these activities with the children I look after. I have a Victoria WWCC, first aid certificate and a full NSW drivers licence.
