I’m a university student who’s always been happiest in busy, lively environments, especially around kids. I grew up in a big, close family, so looking after younger cousins, keeping them entertained, helping with homework, or just being the “fun older sister” has always been second nature to me. I’m very active, I play tennis competitively and love all kinds of sports, so I’m comfortable with high energy kids who want to run around, play outside, or just be active after school. I also currently work as a soccer coach at a club called State Soccer, where I coach children aged 3–14, which has further strengthened my ability to manage groups of kids, keep them engaged, and create a fun but structured environment. At the same time, I also love quieter activities like drawing, painting, music, reading stories, or building little creative projects together, so I can match whatever vibe your child has that day. Funny enough, I’ve also somehow become the favourite “big sister figure” to all my friends’ younger siblings. They’ll often come to me first to share stories, secrets, or little worries, sometimes before they even tell their own siblings, which I think comes from being a good listener and making them feel understood without judgement. I take that trust seriously and always try to be supportive, kind, and reassuring. I’d describe myself as warm, patient, and friendly. I’m the kind of person who will get fully invested in your child’s imaginary game, celebrate their tiny wins, and make sure they feel heard and comfortable. I’m tidy, reliable, and very respectful of routines. Most importantly, I truly enjoy being around kids, not just supervising them, but connecting with them so they feel safe, happy, and excited to see me again.

** Due to other commitments for the next few months, I am currently only available for casual babysitting and/or tutoring (English, Reading). As my availability is quite limited, I will only accept job invitations that I am certain I can commit to 😊 ** Hi there! 🌈✨ I am an experienced, energetic, fun and creative Nanny and Babysitter. I’ve had five years of experience looking after children aged 6 months - 15 years. I have worked regularly for three families over this time, and casually for many others. I have a Dean’s Scholar Bachelor of Arts (French + English Literature Majors and Theatre + Creative Writing minors.) I am currently completing my Masters in Fine Arts at NIDA. I am also interning with SBS as their Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator for TV and Online Content. I work as a freelance Theatre Dramaturg and Production Assistant on film sets. I also work at Luna Park on and off as an actor and I work as an Elf at ‘the Wundrful World of Christmas’ (an immersive Northpole experience!) and Myer each Christmas Season (my favourite time of year!) My passion in all of my creative work lies in making content for children and YA audiences which is another reason I genuinely love taking care of kids ☺️ I am involved in many organisations where I work closely with children. I have a Youth Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for my service to the community. Some of my volunteer work includes: -Volunteer at Camp Quality (11 years) -Volunteer at AIME (mentoring Indigenous students in the local community) -Volunteer at SCARF (tutoring primary school aged children from refugee backgrounds) My rate is $35-$40 an hour depending on the number, age and/or needs of the child/children. For public holidays, my rate is $60 per hour. I absolutely love kids, and I’m also a big animal lover, so pets are a bonus for me! Outside of working, I love to spend time with my family and friends, boogie board at the beach, play piano, sing in choirs, all arts and crafts (I have a crochet business called ‘Love.Marion’ where I donate 100% of my profits to Alzheimer’s Research), travel, read, play netball, explore new places, watch documentaries, arrow words and sudoku, and go to the theatre as an audience member! If you are interested, please contact me and I can email you my CV, WWCC, First Aid qualifications and any other relevant documents ☺️ **Please note, I don’t drive, so won’t accept jobs that require driving children.** Feel free to reach out to me directly via email: sevgi.ayla.murphy@gmail.com
