Hi families! I'm a qualified primary school teacher from the UK with 4 and a half years experience teaching in schools and looking after young people. I have also worked as a camp counsellor and, as the eldest of 6 children, supported my parents with my siblings when we were growing up! Children in my care feel included and safe, whilst also having lots of fun. I look forward to hearing from you. ⭐ First Aid in Education and Care Setting ⭐ ⭐ NESA approved primary school teacher ⭐
As a teacher, I have worked with many children with additional needs. I am trained in the SEND code of practice and adapted my lessons to support their needs. I have also written healthcare plans and consulted with professionals such as a educational psychologists to support families. In the UK, I received training on autism and ADHD.
I am a qualified teacher who has been working full time as a primary school teacher in the UK. I worked predominantly with children aged 7-9 but also had experience teaching and supporting children from ages 4-11. As a teacher, I supported children to develop not only their educational outcomes but also help develop their social and emotional learning. I also have worked as a camp counsellor for two summers, where I supported children aged 7-14 on a residential summer holiday camp. Here, we planned and led sport, creative and adventure activities, as well as supporting children who were away from home.
I have been teaching full time for 3 and a half years (and a further additional training year). I am qualified to teach in all primary subjects, with particular strengths in English, Maths and the Humanities (I performed strongly in the UK High School leaving examinations in Geography, History and Religious Studies). I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and an additional Masters in Education (where my focus was on the teaching of primary mathematics), which I obtained from the University of Cambridge, UK.
