My name is Ava, I am originally from Ireland. I arrived in Sydney in September. I am a primary school teacher with a lot of experience working with children in various school settings. I have run after-school sports clubs and arts and crafts clubs in schools, where I focus on fostering creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. In addition, I have led summer camps designed specifically for children with additional needs, ensuring that every child has an enriching and enjoyable experience. I also facilitate friendship-building clubs, helping children develop strong social skills and positive relationships. I have over eight years of experience nannying and babysitting for three gorgeous families in Ireland & and one family in France. My love for kids is at the heart of everything I do. Whether I am teaching in the classroom or babysitting, I am dedicated to creating a warm and supportive environment where children feel valued and encouraged. I am very flexible with my work hours. I am happy to negotiate hours to tailor what suits your family’s needs. I can also offer household duties while I babysit and help with the preparation of meals. I am a huge pet lover so if you have any furry friends I would be more than happy to meet them too. I would be more than delighted to offer dog walking as part of my duties. I am a warm, caring person and I am well-equipped to provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for your children. I would love to meet you and your family to discuss my qualifications in more detail. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about me. I would be delighted to hear from you soon.

My name is Katie and I’m here in Australia for the year, potentially longer. I am a motivated and enthusiastic person. Walking, swimming, baking, reading, music and art are just some of my passions. I am a qualified primary school teacher and I’ve taught children from 5 years to 12 years. I’ve spent four years teaching at home and am currently on a career break from my permanent job. My role as a teacher required patience, kindness, empathy, honesty, communication skills and creativity. These are all skills in which I can utilise as the role of a nanny here in Australia. Over the years, I’ve worked with children through work experience in a pre-school with children aged 3 years to 5 years. Here I co-ordinated activities and worked on the smooth transition to primary school for some of the children. I have babysat the same children at home who aged from 6 months to 7 years old and continued to look after them some weekends before I left. This role included day car as well as over night work. I built a strong relationship with this family and I was very sad to say goodbye to them before I left. During July and August when I’m off from my teaching job, I’ve delivered 1:1 tutoring to children. I’ve worked closely with children with special educational needs. This role required trust from parents as I worked independently with the children and took them out for the day on my own. Most recently, I’ve spent a period of time nannying for a family here in Australia who no longer require care anymore so I’m am available for casual nannying. I am looking forward to meeting new families here in Australia.
