Special Needs Experience

I have completed multiple modules in special educational training as part of both of my degrees including placements. I have also worked in many roles for over 5 years in Centre for Talented Youth Ireland, which has a lot of students with additional needs. I worked occasionally as an (Sna) special needs assistant in various primary school classrooms and completed two years as a special education/primary resource teacher.

I have worked with children of all ages ranging from 2-18 years old through babysitting, working with children with disabilities, preschool and primary teaching! I have mostly worked with children who are primary school age. I love the fun, energetic, creative atmosphere that children bring and find working with children a rewarding job😊

Tutoring Experience

In Ireland, I was tutoring a child for 2 years outside of school who was seriously dyslexic. I used active learning and games to help him to learn in a fun and effective manner. I was asked to continue tutoring him for a third year, however I moved here. I have experience in all primary subjects; pe, maths, English, religion, sphe, history, geography, science, music and Irish.
