Special Needs Experience

I’ve had the privilege of working with children with a wide range of additional needs. I’ve worked as an SNA supporting students in different settings, taught in two autism classes, and for the past year and a half I’ve been tutoring a child with Down syndrome, focusing on both academic progress and OT-based goals. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for every child’s unique strengths and the importance of adapting support to help them reach their potential.

Childcare Experience

I have several years of experience caring for children and am most comfortable minding those aged one and up. I really enjoy working with kids and find it so rewarding to see them grow in confidence, learn new things, and develop their own personalities. I always aim to create a warm, caring environment where children feel safe, happy, and supported.

Tutoring Experience

I’m a qualified teacher with a Master’s in Primary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Geography. I have experience working with children aged 4–12 in primary schools and have engaged in summer tutoring programmes for the previous three years. I have also taught in a TEFL summer camp. For the past year and a half, I’ve been tutoring privately, including supporting a child with Down syndrome, working closely with parents to set and achieve learning goals. I focus on helping children develop their skills, build confidence, and make progress at their own pace. Lessons are tailored to each child’s needs and style of learning.
