I’m from Ireland and have recently made the exciting move to Australia! I have a love for music and the outdoors, always looking for new adventures. Being the youngest in a family of three and one of the youngest among my cousins, I’ve always been surrounded by kids. I absolutely love spending time with my brothers and cousins’ children—it’s always filled with fun and laughter! I’m really looking forward to getting to know and work with the wonderful families here in my new community.
I've been working with children for over 10 amazing years! I’ve been a primary teacher in Ireland for 3 years, and I’ve also spent more than 8 years volunteering and working in after-school programs, focusing on fun activities like music and dance. On top of that, I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer as a carer for children with special needs on a group trip abroad. And before moving to Australia, I spent 6 months minding my niece, which was such a joy! I’m comfortable working with kids of all ages! I’ve taught primary school-aged children, but I’ve also had the chance to work with younger children through after-school programs and, of course, caring for my niece. Whether it’s toddlers, teens, or somewhere in between, I love being able to connect with children at every stage and adapting to their unique needs. Whether it’s helping them understand a tricky concept, cheering them on in a dance class, or just making them smile, knowing that I’ve had a positive impact on their day (or their life!) is the most rewarding feeling. I especially love working with children with special needs – each little achievement feels like a big win, and it’s so fulfilling to be part of their journey.
I'm a qualified primary school teacher with a passion for music. I have 3 years experience teaching my own classes in primary schools and a number of years prior to that teaching singing to younger children.
