Hello Mum’s & Dad’s, I’m originally from Scotland and I have been living in Australia for 11 years. I now have my citizenship here. In Scotland I worked in a day care centre for the elderly for just over 6 years, employed by my local council, Dundee City Council. Whilst settling into Australian life I was an Au-Pair for 3 separate families, at different periods of the years, one in Hornsby- Sydney, one in Canberra and the other in Googong. These children ranged between the ages of 3 months - 12 years old. One of the children that I cared for is diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, which off-course I learnt a great deal and understood this specific condition with caring for this child. Over the past 9 years I worked at The Royal Hospital for Women. I was first employed as a Hospital Assistant on the Postnatal ward, moved to Administration in Gynaecology, then into Revenue and then I became an Acting Outpatients Manager before moving to the Prince of Wales as a Team Leader in Virtual Care. I throughly enjoy being around and spending quality time with children. I am polite, friendly and have a caring and outgoing personality. As well as this, I am reliable which is highly important. I have a WWCC, a current up to date First Aid & CPR Certificate and I hold a current Police Check. I also hold a full NSW driving license and have my own reliable car. I look forward to hearing from any parents requiring any babysitting duties. Kind regards.

I am mature, reliable, fun and animated. I would love to look after your children, nurturing them with the same care, understanding and encouragement that I gave to my own family. I like to provide a safe and loving environment that supports active imaginative play, creative projects and outdoor activities. I enjoy helping children with school work, costuming & theatre games, reading together and cooking, generally making activities both educational and fun. I am used to juggling work and hectic extracurricular activities with homework schedules, playtime and chores. I am also experienced in helping children with additional needs. I ran my own business, a small hospitality staffing agency, for 18 years, which allowed me to be flexible in my availability for my two children (b, g), who are now adults. Having also been a volunteer in both their schools, their sporting clubs and dance schools, my active involvement has contributed to them being confident and responsible adults who have been School Captains and community volunteers, and are now involved in sports, theatre, children’s education and childcare. I was a volunteer with a community care organisation as a medical appointment companion and as an in home visitor, and also a volunteer in a literacy program at a local primary school, until covid closed these programmes in 2020. I have my WWCC, Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care, Full Immunisations, and have a clean Drivers Licence. I like pets, am a non-smoker and can also speak limited conversational French. Having often worked as a waitperson in private homes, and as a private nanny since 2016, I am used to being discreet and respecting your privacy and I am happy to do light housekeeping duties. I love to travel overseas to visit family and enjoy puzzling, board games, live sketch comedy, movies, cycling and long walks. From March 2020 to March 2022, I was a fulltime carer for 2 years as a morning nanny til lunch time, with a family whose baby was 3 months old when I began with them. I still occasionally care for their children who are now 6 and 11 (2026). This is the review by Serisha. Then from March 2022 until June 2023 I cared for a toddler each morning (m-f) from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm. He was 18 months old when I began. For 5 years, From 2021 to 2026, I split my week between 2 other families (2b, 2g) for after school and holiday care. I sometimes had all 4 children at the same time. These are the reviews by Laura G and Sarah S. My time with Laura's family has now sadly come to a close. To continue my involvement and relationship with the girls, I will still care for them one afternoon a week, but am now looking for a new family. I am very comfortable with babies and adore children of all ages and would be happy to care for your family while you are at work, enjoying an outing or just need support. My current availability is: Mon, Tues, Wed AM, Thurs, Fri. My rate is $40/hr

Hello families, I am a qualified early years teacher from Ireland open to any babysitting. I am available both weekdays evenings and weekends. Overall, I have 11 years experience working directly with children. I have spent the last 5 years working in the early years sector where I have worked with every age group from baby room, toddler room and preschool classes and in the afternoons coordinated the after school services for primary school children. I have also coached in a variety of Easter and Summer soccer and athletics camps since I was a teenager and I spent a Summer as a nanny in San Francisco. I have also worked in various primary schools as a special needs assistant. This experience has covered a broad range of ages from a few months old all the way up to 12 years old. This is all underpinned by my qualifications I have a bachelors degree in early childhood care and education and diplomas in special needs assisting. I have a large extended family back in Ireland and with me, as the eldest of three and lots of younger cousins I have had a lot of practical experience in babysitting throughout the years. We have always had animals too so having a pet is no problem to me. My hobbies include running, swimming and reading. I am very flexible, adaptable and can adjust to any situation as the need arises. I have my WWCC and have references available. Please send me a message if you would like to get in touch. Thank you ☺️

Hi families! 👋 I’m Clodagh, a 26-year-old Irish primary school teacher who has just relocated to Sydney from Port Douglas. I’ve spent over five years working as a nanny and babysitter, caring for children of all ages — from tiny newborns to fun-loving teenagers. Growing up as the eldest in a big Irish family, I was always surrounded by kids, and caring for little ones became a big part of my life. During my teaching degree, I specialised in primary education and have also worked extensively as a tutor, supporting children in all curricular areas. I love helping kids grasp new concepts and watching their confidence grow — whether it’s through learning, play, or everyday routines. I’m fun, warm, and trustworthy, and I pride myself on being reliable, organised, and easygoing. I love creating a calm, positive environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. I’m always up for arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, music sessions, or a great storybook. As a qualified music teacher, I bring lots of creativity and energy to my care, often incorporating music and play into learning moments. Outside of work, I love to cook, play sport, and keep active — whether it’s football, tennis, running, or a good gym class! 📍 Based in Maroubra, happy to travel around the Eastern Suburbs 🚗 Full driver’s licence 🩹 First Aid & CPR trained 🧾 Working With Children Check 🎶 Qualified primary & music teacher Available now for full-time or casual nannying and babysitting roles. Cv and references available on request. Please get in touch if you think I would be a good fit for you 😊💕
