Hi! I’m Lucy — a 26-year-old Irish/Australian living in Randwick, Sydney. I’ve always had a genuine love for working with children and have been babysitting since I was 16. Before moving to Australia in 2024, I regularly cared for several families back home in Ireland. For six months, I looked after my neighbours’ three children (aged 2, 6, and 9) every Friday. On alternate Saturdays, I babysat four children from families near my workplace. I also had the special experience of living with my sister during the first three months of my godson’s life, helping care for him as a newborn — a time I’ll always cherish. Availability • Fridays (after 1pm), Saturdays & Sundays: Fully available I hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and would be more than happy to meet beforehand so you can get to know me and ask any questions. I’m reliable, friendly, and genuinely enjoy spending time with kids of all ages. I’d love the chance to meet your family and offer any support you need!

Childcare Experience
I’ve been caring for children since I was 16, starting with babysitting my neighbors’ kids on weekends while I was still in school. After university, I found my way back to childcare, especially after my sister had her baby—it reignited my passion for working with children. I spent six months caring for my neighbors’ children every Saturday and took on additional babysitting jobs near my workplace. I’m comfortable looking after children of all ages, having lived with my sister during the first three months of my godson’s life and gaining hands-on experience with newborn care.
