I’m from the west of Ireland and come from a close-knit family of five. I have extensive babysitting experience in Ireland with boys and girls of various ages. For the past four years, I’ve worked full-time as a secondary school teacher, teaching maths and physical education, so I’m very comfortable supporting, supervising, and engaging with young people.Back home I’m also a certified lifeguard, CPR trained, and hold a full driving licence, providing an extra level of safety, reliability, and reassurance for families.
Through my work as a secondary school teacher, I have gained valuable experience working closely with the Special Educational Needs (SEN) department. This has involved supporting students with a range of additional needs in both classroom and day-to-day environments
I have several years of childcare experience, having worked many babysitting jobs in the past. Most notably, I regularly cared for three children aged between 6 and 12. My responsibilities included collecting them from school, preparing lunches and snacks, helping with routines, and entertaining them with age-appropriate activities until their parents returned home. What I find most rewarding about childcare is building positive relationships with children and supporting their growth, confidence, and independence. As a secondary school teacher, I enjoy helping young people develop both academically and personally, whether that’s through learning, sport, or everyday interactions.
