Childcare Experience

Hi everyone, I have worked as a babysitter for over seven years in Ireland. I worked part time on the weekends during college and secondary school and I worked as a full-time child minder during the summer holidays. During this time I took care of children across all age ranges. I worked with multiple families, varying from a 1 child household to a 4 children household. As part of my day I was in charge of taking care of the children, collecting from activities, organising bedtimes, preparing meals, and performing light housework. From this experience I learned how to create a fun but calm environment for the children and I have developed great patience when working with young children. I have also learned how to manage busy schedules and I am confident in maintaining a child’s routine.
