Hello dear families, I'm Julia, a very affectionate soul and passionate educator from Brazil where I worked as a preschool English Teacher with children from 2 to 6 years old. I've been working with children for almost 7 years now and I absolutely love being part of their journey and watching them develop and grow. I came to Australia almost 5 years ago to experience education in a new way and also to improve my skills. I've completed my Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and, even though I've learned so much through my studies and experience, I feel like I'm always learning from children every single day! I have worked as a childcare educator in Australia for 3 years, most of the time in the Nursery room with babies and toddlers from 0-2yo. I've been responsible for planning and supporting age-appropriate activities and play, changing nappies, following children's sleep, meals and bottles routines, as well as other specific routines, such as tummy time and requested activities to help develop children's physical, cognitive, emotional and social skills. Always working in partnership with families and daily communicating with them to provide the best care for each baby's needs and interests. I am currently working as a private nanny, but willing to do casual babysitting where I can support families that are looking for an experienced and kind carer. Please, do not hesitate to message me if you need any more information!

Hello! My name is Alana, and I’d love the opportunity to support your family as a babysitter. I’ve grown up in a very close, loving family with both of my parents and an older brother. Being the oldest girl in my extended family, I naturally fell into the role of caring for younger children, especially my younger cousins. Over the years, I’ve been trusted with a lot of responsibility, and that’s helped shape me into someone who is patient, attentive, and nurturing. I’ve babysat for two other families with children under the age of 12, and I’m comfortable managing routines such as bedtime, meals, homework support, activities, and general supervision. One of my cousins is neurodiverse and on the autism spectrum, and I’ve also enjoyed working with other families who have children on the spectrum. These experiences have given me valuable insight into sensory needs, gentle communication, patience, and the importance of consistency. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids, helping them feel safe, supported, and entertained. Whether it’s creative play, outdoor activities, or a quiet movie night, I’m happy to match the energy and preferences of your children. I know how much trust it takes to leave your children in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I will always treat your home, your rules, and, most importantly, your children with care, kindness, and respect. If you have any questions or specific routines you’d like me to follow, I’m more than happy to chat. I look forward to the chance to meet you and support your family! Warmly, Alana
