Hello! My name is Alana, and I’d love the opportunity to support your family as a babysitter. I’ve grown up in a very close, loving family with both of my parents and an older brother. Being the oldest girl in my extended family, I naturally fell into the role of caring for younger children, especially my younger cousins. Over the years, I’ve been trusted with a lot of responsibility, and that’s helped shape me into someone who is patient, attentive, and nurturing. I’ve babysat for two other families with children under the age of 12, and I’m comfortable managing routines such as bedtime, meals, homework support, activities, and general supervision. One of my cousins is neurodiverse and on the autism spectrum, and I’ve also enjoyed working with other families who have children on the spectrum. These experiences have given me valuable insight into sensory needs, gentle communication, patience, and the importance of consistency. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids, helping them feel safe, supported, and entertained. Whether it’s creative play, outdoor activities, or a quiet movie night, I’m happy to match the energy and preferences of your children. I know how much trust it takes to leave your children in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
