Dear Host Family, Hi, How are you? I hope you’re doing well. First, let me briefly introduce myself. My name is Marina Yamamoto and I’m from Nagoya Japan. I used to live in the United States for 2 years. I was taking care of 2 boys(5&8years old) and 3 girls(4,7,10 years old) I was an au pair! I’m a very hardworking and trustworthy person. My child care experience is fun and exciting, I have experience in volunteering and after-school care. I took care of a total of 70 children. And that's a total of 2390 hours. Children's ages range from 2 to 14 years. I played with the children, helped with their homework, made various things with origami, went to the park and play there, and saw the cherry blossoms. And of course, we take care of them and keep an eye on them all the time. I like taking care of kids because they are so cute I also learned something with every kid that I’ve taken care of. If you are interested in Japanese culture, I can teach you the correct pronunciation of Japanese, the order of writing kanji, and calligraphy. Many Japanese people have an accent, but I can speak the standard language. I studied at a voice actor school for about 3 years, so I can speak beautiful Japanese. I took very strict lessons to become a voice actress, so I don't have any bad sounds in Japanese. And I can speak the Osaka dialect and Nagoya dialect because of my parents' influence. Let's study together if we have the opportunity. Nowadays, I have many opportunities to teach kanji in after-school care, so I am also good at teaching hiragana, katakana, and kanji. In addition, I have been learning calligraphy for about 15 years, so I can write beautiful Japanese. I would be happy if I could share more about my life experience with you. I'm looking forward to meeting and talking with you. I think I meet all the criteria for becoming a nanny. I promise to share my knowledge with your children and do my best to help your kid to grow as an independent and strong child like me. I am planning to go to school for EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION. I hope to see you soon. Thank you very much.

Hi mums and dads! my name is Makenzi and I’m a 24-year-old completing my third year of a four year double degree in Arts and Primary Education at Monash University. I’ve already completed a Bachelor degree of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Swinburne and during this time I realized my passion is actually teaching young children. I love the early learning of young children and aspire to be the best example and teacher to all young children. I commenced my own studies at Firbank Grammar in the early learning centre and was a Firbank student right through until I completed year 12 in 2019. For the past three years I’ve been working for a family based in Glen Iris commencing when their young daughter was 10 months old as sadly her mum Amanda is a paraplegic after a tragic accident. My role included looking after Eadie from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm multiple days a week and ensuring her well being physically and assisting with her growth, learning and behavioral needs throughout the day. I also assisted around the home with  any tasks required including cooking, washing, general tidying, running errands and providing support to Amanda  when needed. I also casually assist a family with two primary school aged girls as both parents are busy working doctors. This role includes school drop offs, sometimes pick up’s and after school activities. I am a caring, responsible, thought-provoking, energetic, empathetic and passionate young woman who strives to teach and care for young children with their best interests always as the priority. I would love the opportunity to discuss this further with you in the role that you have advertised on babysitting.com so if you’d like to reach out and have a chat please contact me on 0403 725 850 My availability is: Monday all day Tuesday 10 - 2:30 Wednesday 10 - 2:30 Thursday 10 - 2:30 Friday 10 - 2:30 I do school drop off and school pick up Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday for eadie hence the hours. I can supply references on request. Regards Makenzi Blackman

Hi everyone, I am an aspiring Primary school teacher, located in Black Rock / Beaumaris. Currently completing a Diploma of Teacher Education Preparation, prior to the Bachelor of Education and am looking for some nannying / babysitting work. I am responsible, active, love to participate in any activities, love kids and animals + cleaning (clean space, clean mind 😉) Experience: I previously worked at Mentone Girls Grammar School Aquatic Centre, and absolutely loved interacting with the kids and family’s. I would walk the ELC girls over from class to the pool, allowing many fun and entertaining conversations. Throughout high school, I did various work in programs assisting children and adults with additional needs. Last year I worked in Italy as an Au Pair for a few months. I was looking after 2 girls aged 8 and 12 (I have references if required). I absolutely loved the experience which led to my enrolment at uni. I have had experience over the years babysitting cousins and friend’s siblings, as well as another family of two girls aged 7 and 10. Certificates: I have a valid working with children’s check, as well as many years of experience in Surf Life Saving which required regular first aid training. My first aid certificate has expired although I am willing to complete it again. I have a valid Police Check. Availability: I am currently on my semester break for Uni, so am available almost everyday/night until July 11th. I will receive my timetable for next semester in the coming weeks. More about me: I currently live at home with one of my sisters, my parents and my beautiful rescue cat. I have never struggled making friends, it comes naturally to me to socialise and establish strong relationships. I have always adored children and again can very easily make great connections. I have had a variety of jobs over the years but mainly working in customer service. Although I was great at conflict resolution, I knew that my career lay somewhere with working with kids. I absolutely love travelling and new experiences hence why I made the decision to go Au Pair in Italy. I loved the opportunity to be immersed in a different culture, while furthering my experience with childcare. I’m a very active person, I played many sports as a kid including netball, surf life saving, basketball, soccer, football, dance and so on. I now do Pilates and Yoga, as well as lots of walking. I still have a passion for dance, as well as any type of physical activity, which I have found beneficial for Babysitting and nannying.
