I have over eight years of experience working with children through early childhood education, community programs, and volunteer work in preschools and junior primary schools. I have cared for children from as young as 6 months to 8 years old, but I feel especially confident and comfortable looking after infants and toddlers under the age of 3. I enjoy creating a calm and nurturing environment where little ones feel safe, supported, and happy. I am very patient with children and love spending time interacting with them—playing games, having conversations, and simply being present in their world. They often inspire me in unexpected ways, and I find our time together full of laughter and creativity. I truly believe we share a beautiful exchange of energy—they give me as much as I give them. With a background in art education, I also enjoy teaching children how to draw. I often guide them through fun and simple art activities, encouraging their imagination and creativity while helping them develop fine motor skills. What I find most rewarding about childcare is the opportunity to build trusting bonds with children, witness their small daily achievements, and be part of their early growth and development. Their growth brings me a deep sense of joy and purpose—I genuinely love seeing them grow up happily. In one of my volunteer roles, a child I cared for even learned some basic English through our time together, which made me incredibly happy and proud of the positive influence I could bring.

Hello families! First off, thank you for taking the time to read through my profile. I hold a current Certificate III, IV and Diploma in Children’s Services, up to date First Aid, CPR, WWCC and National Police Clearance. I have been working within the early childhood industry for 10+ years, including through workplace experiences in a range of different childcare services, as well as working full time as a diploma qualified educator in babies, toddlers and kinder rooms ages 0-6 years old. I have a passion for working with children in the early years, as I believe they are the most important years of a child’s life. In my philosophy, I believe in the importance of building trusting and positive relationships with each and every child and family I meet. I see every child as a unique individual, they each hold different interests, skills and learn at their own pace. I believe in the importance of children learning through play and imagination. As an educator, I want to create every opportunity for children to learn and explore the world around them. My availability is Monday- Friday in the afternoons and evenings only from 5pm. I am available Saturdays and Sundays from early morning. I am flexible with the weekend times and happy to discuss this further with you. I look forward to hearing from you and I am happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand if needed, to get to know you and your children, show documentation, discuss your children’s interests, development, their individual routines and answer any questions you may have for me.
