Special Needs Experience

Childcare Experience

I have babysat for over 4 years. I have had 4 consistent families over that time, who I have loved supporting. I have worked with mostly 18 month to 7 year old, but have experience with younger and older children. I have done casual babysitting (once a week) for over ten families. My mother is a kindy teacher and I have spent the last few weeks over the year volunteering at the kindy. My sister is a paediatric speech pathologist meaning we often discuss how to best support kids to learn. I have experience helping with homework, music homework, sport practise, appointments, special events, school pick up and drop off. Additionally I am study OT, having just completed my developmental neuroscience unit, I will be completing further paediatric units this coming semester.
