I am a 27 year old from the lovely county Clare in Ireland. I have a bachelor's degree in musical theatre, and while performing was my passion, I transitioned into nannying and haven’t looked back since.
Caring for children has been so rewarding and truly is something I love doing.
I’m currently a part time nanny for two families, one with a bubbly little three year old and the other an adorable little 14 month old, based in Maroubra and Paddington but have heaps of free hours to help out with other families.
As a former theatre performer I bring a unique blend of creativity, patience, and emotional intelligence to the role of caregiving. With my experience working closely with children and families, I understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can thrive.
My background in theatre allows me to bring imaginative play, storytelling, singing and movement into daily activities, encouraging children’s natural creativity and expression. I believe in a child-led approach, where curiosity is nurtured, and children are empowered to explore and learn at their own pace. My Steiner education has instilled in me a holistic approach to caregiving, valuing the emotional, physical well-being of each child and really nurturing them.
I am a gentle and patient caregiver, always prioritizing kindness and clear communication. I work closely with families to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
Growing up in rural Ireland, I have always loved spending time outdoors and I encourage exploration of nature. I love cooking healthy and balanced meals so i can make yummy tasty meals for the kids and also happy to do some family meal prep and assist with grocery shops if needed, as I understand all these little things can take a weight off the parents shoulders.
