I’m new to the world of home tutoring, however I have a range of experience working with children in a learning environment, both as a qualified swim instructor in the pool, and assisting in a homework group for primary aged kids. I am passionate about being creative and have had years of being tutored myself in piano and flute. I am able to tutor both general school subjects and beginner french, as I completed VCE French last year.

Hey everyone! I’ve been working and volunteering with kids since I was 12 years old. I have been a dance coach for six years, a tutor for 2 years (including being with an agency) and have been involved…

I began tutoring in 2015 for personal contacts and family friends. However, as I really enjoyed doing that work, and received good scores in my own academics, I began working for a tutoring company called ‘Tutor Bright’ in 2019. I had 3-4 students at one time, doing 1 hour weekly sessions at their home. My specialty is English and History, however with my younger students (years 7-9) I assisted in project planning and homework across all subjects. Currently I am tutoring a VCE English student online due to Covid-19, and am proficient in online teaching. At University I’m nearing the end of a Bachelor of Arts, meaning I have plenty of experience in essay writing and research. I’m a very organised individual, and I always incorporate organisational habits and planning into my sessions to help my students develop their own skills (as being organised is essential in life). I help with SAC and Exam preparation as I myself am required to do those things in my own learning, and have found through my own trial and error many different ways to prepare effectively. Each student has different learning needs and skills, and I believe it’s essential to tailor the tutoring to their unique learning journey to be as effective, impactful and empowering as possible.
