Hello,
My name is Aisling.Originally from Ireland, I have been living in Sydney for just over a year now. I am qualified speech pathologist working privately in North Sydney
Before embarking on my career as a speech therapist, I was an Early Years Educator. Throughout my several years studying at University, I worked as a Nanny both part-time and full-time, depending on the time of the year. I have six years plus experience nannying for families ( twins and triplets) aswell as working with families who had children with additional and complex needs. I have decided to take a step back from clinical duties as a therapist and look for a job as a Nanny in Sydney on a full-time basis.
With my extensive background in childcare and a genuine passion for working with children, I am confident that I would be a valuable addition to your family home. As previously worked as an Early Years Educator I possess many qualities to ensure that your child/children are exposed to a nurturing, caring, stimulating, and creative environment. In my previous roles as a Nanny, I successfully managed the day-to-day activities of children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs were met, whilst ensuring I created a structured routine that included educational play, outdoor activities, and age-appropriate learning opportunities. I have always ensured to build positive relationships and maintain open communication with parents to ensure that I am reflecting their values when minding and caring for their children.
My qualifications include
- BA Early Years and Children Studies University College Cork 2014- 2017
- PgDip Speech and Language Therapy 2018-2021
- CPR, First Aid and Manual Handling Training
- Full clean driving license
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Housekeeping and meal preparation skills to assist with household needs
- Proven ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
I am a caring, responsible, and reliable individual who has a natural and kind approach when working with children and their families. I believe that I hold many of the qualities parents/caregivers would look for when searching for an ideal candidate to mind and care for their children. I am confident that my dedication, reliability, patience, and ability to form positive and meaningful connections with children make me an ideal candidate for this job.
I am open to discussing my experience in more detail along with providing references from families that I have previously worked for!
Many thanks
Aisling
