Hello, I’m a 28 year old, Irish, primary school teacher. I took a career break from my permanent teaching position in Dublin, Ireland to travel and experience living abroad. After traveling for 6 months, I decided to base myself in Warrnambool as I have family here. I’m available for nannying, babysitting and tutoring work in the area. I am the oldest of 4 children and have been working with children since I was a teenager.
Through my teaching, I have experience working with children with Down syndrome, autism and adhd.
I am the oldest of 4 children and come from a big family with lots of cousins so I have always been around children. I then started working with children when I volunteered as a leader at summer camps in my town at home in Ireland. I decided to train to be a primary school teacher after high school and graduated from Dublin City University with a second class honours in 2019. I covered a maternity leave in a local school in my first year out and then moved to Dublin where I got a job in Ranelagh and have been there ever since! I took a career break last September to travel and I will be returning to my job in September 2026.
I have not tutored in a one to one capacity before but I am confident in my teaching abilities. I believe that I will be proficient in offering support in literacy, numeracy, history, geography, science, and the arts.
