Hi! I am a qualified secondary teacher. I have also taught in primary schools and been a Centre Director at an Early Learning Centre. I have been working with children for over 8 years and I have also been teaching swimming to infants and preschoolers as well as primary school aged children since 2014. I am up to date with am my first aid training including asthma, anaphylaxis and CPR.

"Lauren came on board for 6 months to help with my 18 month old boy. She was incredible and an absolute like saver many times over. She always responses quickly which is wonderful for a working mum, she is on time and communication is perfect. My son adored her and he always slept, ate played and was safe with Lauren, I never had to worry and felt relief when he was with her. Lauren did both days and night with Keanu my son and even some really long days from 11-11 pm. I look forward to being back in Melbourne to be able to use Lauren. "

Special Needs Experience

I have had lots of special needs training through P.D. days at school. I have extensive knowledge in differentiating activities and learning to meet the needs of children with differing abilities and special needs.

Childcare Experience

I have been looking after children for over 8 years including babysitting, nannying, tutoring and teaching. I have lots of experience looking after children of all ages. During covid I have been working as a director for a childcare centre in the eastern suburbs 😊

Tutoring Experience

I have completed a 4 year bachelor of education degree and am almost finished my graduate diploma in early childhood education. At a primary level I have experience tutoring as a generalist eg reading, writing, numeracy and at secondary level I have lots of experience tutoring Mathematics, Health and PE, Business Studies and Food and Technology. This year I am teaching full time at a high school. The subjects I teach are Mathematics, Food Technology and Health and Human Development.
