Hi families and parents 😊 I’m a caring and trustworthy babysitter/nanny who enjoys spending quality time with children and supporting families. I’m patient, attentive and always focused on creating a safe, positive and nurturing environment. I’m comfortable with different age groups and can assist with meals, routines, homework, school drop-offs and pick-ups, and bedtime. I also enjoy engaging children in fun and educational activities, including arts and crafts, reading, outdoor play and creative games. I’m reliable and maintain open communication and trust with families. I treat children and families with respect, kindness and care. I’d love to help your family when you need extra support 🌼 Happy to answer any questions!
I have two years of experience with children with autism, looking after two kids aged 6 and 10. I provided after-school care, including picking them up from school, taking them home, helping with routines, meals, homework and engaging in activities suited to their needs. While I haven’t completed formal special needs training, I am experienced, patient and committed to providing supportive and compassionate care.
I have over eight years of childcare experience, including casual babysitting and caring for children of different ages, as well as raising my own children (adults now). Being a mother has given me firsthand experience and a genuine understanding of children’s needs, routines, personalities and emotions, which I bring to every family I care for. Alongside childcare, I have a professional background in administration and office management, which has strengthened my organisational skills, reliability, communication and ability to manage responsibilities calmly and efficiently. I currently enjoy doing babysitting on the side because I genuinely love spending time with children and find it rewarding to be part of their development and everyday lives. I am patient, attentive and caring. I enjoy creating a safe, positive and fun environment where children feel comfortable, supported and happy. I love engaging children in activities such as arts and crafts, reading, outdoor play, imaginative games and creative activities, while also being happy to help with homework, meals and bedtime routines. I am also experienced with school and childcare routines, including school pick-ups and drop-offs, preparing meals and keeping children engaged and settled throughout the day. Having recently moved to Melbourne, I am looking forward to getting to know my local community, meeting new families and building genuine connections. I would love the opportunity to support families who are looking for someone responsible, trustworthy, organised and warm to care for their children. I treat every child with kindness, patience and respect, and I take pride in being someone parents can feel confident and comfortable leaving their children with.
I have experience supporting primary school-aged children with their learning through helping family, friends and children I have cared for. I am comfortable supervising homework, reading and basic school activities, and I can encourage children to stay focused and work through tasks independently. I am patient and supportive and can guide children when they are unsure, explain things in a simple way where I can, and encourage them to ask questions and keep trying. While I am not a qualified teacher or specialist tutor, I am happy to provide general homework support, supervision and encouragement and help create a positive and calm environment for learning.
