Hey! My name is Moira. I’m a qualified primary school teacher with a current VIT registration and over 10 years of experience working with children of various ages. For the past 4 years I have worked full time as a primary school teacher at a bilingual school, teaching English. I’m currently working casually and taking a break from full time teaching. I’m excited to try something new by offering babysitting, tutoring and general support as needed. My additional experience includes working as a teacher’s aide, running art classes, before and after school care, vacation care, as well as nannying and babysitting. I love working with children, understanding their individual needs and planning activities to support them. I also enjoy art, yoga, hiking, camping, cooking and going swimming! I have been working with children for 10 plus years. I am comfortable working with all ages, in particular from 2 years old through to the end of primary school. I find working with children incredibly rewarding - I love watching them grow, develop and build confidence in themselves. It’s fun, active, creative and everyday is different! I am a qualified primary school teacher with a passion for tutoring students in reading and writing. I especially enjoy working with children Prep to Year 3, helping them build strong foundational skills, grow their confidence and develop a love of learning.
