Hello! My name is Lucy and I am a final year medical student looking for casual work! I love working with kids and I have extensive experience working with children of all ages. I have been babysitting since I was 16, sometimes even moving into the home while parents are away on overseas holidays. Additionally, for the past year I have worked for an education company in schools engaging with students of all ages. I am dedicated to creating a fun, supportive and safe environment for kids! Childcare Experience
I have been babysitting children since I was 16. I am originally from Melbourne and took care of 2 families from Melbourne during my undergraduate degree. This included school drop offs/pick ups, after school activities, cooking meals, baths and bed time, weekend babysitting and birthday parties, as well as live in babysitting while the parents were on overseas holidays. I have taken care of kids of all ages, as well as pets and am used to assisting with household work. I also work part time for an education company that does workshops in schools for students of all ages. As a final year medical student, I understand how to keep your child safe and have formal first aid and CPR training.
Tutoring Experience
I have previously tutored high school and university students, however never young children. Given my medical background and my part time job in education I am confident with a range of academic topics (particularly science and maths) and understand how to make learning fun and engaging!
