I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 8 years of experience in childminding, caring for children of all ages from newborns to school-aged children. I am a very active, reliable, and creative person who enjoys planning fun, engaging, and educational activities such as arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, and age-appropriate learning experiences that support children’s development. I place a strong emphasis on creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and happy. Alongside childcare, I am more than happy to help with preparing meals, household cleaning, and maintaining daily routines, including bedtime, homework, and school preparation. I am passionate about supporting each child’s individual needs and building trusting relationships with both children and parents. I also grew up surrounded by pets so I am a huge animal lover and very comfortable with dogs.

Special Needs Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher and have had lots of experience working in autism units. I worked as a special education teacher, supporting children from junior infants to 6th class from 2021-2022. In 2021 I completed the Summer provision programme in Ireland with a boy with additional needs.
Childcare Experience
I’m a qualified primary school teacher who graduated in 2021 and have experience working with children in both Ireland and Australia. I moved to Australia in December 2023 and, since then, have worked as a nanny for two wonderful families. One role involved caring for two primary school–aged boys, and the other involved supporting a busy household with three boys — one in primary school, one in preschool, and a newborn baby. Alongside nannying, I have experience with ad hoc babysitting in both Ireland and Australia. I’m confident and comfortable caring for children of all ages, from infants through to older primary school children. I love creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment, while also supporting children’s learning, routines, and development. With my teaching background, I enjoy helping with homework, organising age-appropriate activities, and encouraging independence, while always keeping children’s wellbeing as my top priority. These experiences have allowed me to gain extensive insight into communicating with and caring for children.
Tutoring Experience
In 2022 I tutored for two families in Dublin. I worked with four children with ages ranging from 6 to 10. I have experience mainly in the subjects of English and Mathematics and in particular in the area of phonics and reading.
