Hi everyone! I come from a big, close-knit family, so I’ve grown up around kids of all ages and naturally love being part of a busy, happy household. I’ve been tutoring for the past three years within both primary and high school students and also spent a year in Spain as an au pair, which gave me wonderful experience caring for children and becoming part of a new family and culture. At home I have two dogs, a cat and a parrot! So I’m very comfortable with pets and very very happy to hang out and help out with them too. I love spending time outdoors, being in nature, and love hiking and swimming. I’m warm, responsible, and reliable, and I’d love to support your family with childcare, tutoring, or lending a hand wherever needed. I look forward to meeting you!
I’ve been looking after children for several years through a mix of tutoring, babysitting, helping with my younger siblings, and working as an au pair in Spain for a year. Growing up in a big family meant I was always involved in caring for younger children, from school pick-ups and homework help to keeping them entertained and organised. For the past three years, I’ve also worked as a tutor with primary and high school students. This has given me strong experience supporting children academically, building their confidence, and adapting to different personalities and learning styles. As an au pair, I cared for children daily, helped with routines, meals, school runs, and created fun activities, which strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to manage busy schedules. I’m most comfortable with primary and early high school ages, but I’m happy with a range of ages. What I find most rewarding about childcare is building trust with children, seeing them grow in confidence, and creating a safe, positive environment where they feel supported and happy.
I have been tutoring for the past three years, working with primary school students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in English, Reading and Maths, so i am very familiar with the content and teaching styles. I’m passionate about helping children build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, as these skills support all other learning. I especially enjoy helping students grow in confidence, whether that’s improving their reading fluency, understanding tricky maths concepts, or developing stronger writing skills! I am currently studying Dentistry at university, which has strengthened my discipline, organisation, and understanding of science-based subjects. Being in a demanding degree has also helped me develop strong communication skills and patience, which I bring into my tutoring sessions.
