Hi mums and dads I’m a qualified physiotherapist with a Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine, and I’ve recently moved from Ireland to Australia. I’m the youngest of three girls, with two older sisters and two lovely nieces, and I grew up babysitting both my cousins and nieces. Back in Ireland, I also worked as a substitute teacher in primary schools, where I taught and tutored children of various ages. Throughout my studies and professional experience, I’ve always worked closely with kids, and caring for and supporting them is something I’m genuinely passionate about. I currently work a few days a week in a nursing home and am looking to pick up some extra babysitting work. I love staying active—playing sports, swimming, and running—and I also enjoy playing guitar and anything to do with music. I’d love the opportunity to help care for your little ones!
I have worked in my career with children with disabilities, autism and also have had training with development delays.
I have since the ages of 14 been babysitting my cousins from the age of 4-11. I also have 2 nieces aged 3 and 6 months who I also minding myself a lot. I am very comfortable with all ages including baby’s and toddlers and comfortable with feedings, burping spans changing. I have specific physiotherapy children training aswell with infants from newborns to teenagers and comfortable with any specific needs. I also have my teaching council number in Ireland and would have covered in primary schools and extra tutoring.
I started subbing in primary schools over 3 years ago, while studying and then with summer programs whenever off work particularly with maths and reading and I would also have helped coach the local youth Gaa teams ( Gaelic football).
