I’m a psychologist with extensive experience working with children. I have been working as a babysitter since I was 14, and now, at 26, I have over a decade of experience caring for children of different ages. My responsibilities have included caring for babies, helping children with homework, preparing meals, organizing creative activities and games, and managing daily routines such as school pick-ups, drop-offs, and taking children to extracurricular activities. In addition, I worked six years in a school setting. For several years I worked in the disability support area, assisting students with diverse needs, and later spent three years as a psychologist in the school’s counseling/orientation team, supporting primary and secondary school students’ emotional, social, and academic development. Also, the year before moving to Australia, I opened my own private practice as a clinical psychologist, working primarily with children and young people aged 8 to 22

Special Needs Experience

I have experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I am also a psychologist and have worked in schools for several years, which has given me extensive experience supporting children with different types of neurodiversity and a wide range of emotional and behavioural needs

Childcare Experience

I’ve been babysitting since I was 15, looking after children of all ages, and it’s something I’ve continued doing throughout my life! When I was 21, I started working in schools as a therapeutic support worker, helping children with additional needs. Later, I began working alongside teachers in the classroom, and during my last two years in Argentina, I worked as a psychologist in the primary school’s wellbeing team and as a tutor for older high school students. At the same time, I worked as a psychologist in a children’s hospital and in private practice, while still doing casual babysitting. Since moving to Australia, I’ve continued babysitting, especially babies! I also worked through an agency supporting a teenage girl, including overnight care. And I worked with a family helping with pretty much everything around the house, from general household organisation and house management to preparing the children’s breakfasts and lunches. So I’ve had the chance to work with children in lots of different settings and roles, and I genuinely love it!

Tutoring Experience

Hi families! I have also worked as a tutor for students in their final years of primary and secondary school, providing one-on-one support at school, both emotionally and academically. I particularly helped them with organisation, study skills and finding study methods that worked best for each of them.
