Hi mums and dads, I am a first year university student studying to become a primary school teacher. I currently work as a student learning support officer (SLSO) at Fairfield public school with students as early as kindergarten through to year 6. I also have volunteered at a primary school earlier this year. I work with improving literacy and numeracy skills, with a lot of different students with different levels and skills.

Childcare Experience

I have worked with children for two school terms, and volunteered for a term as well. I feel comfortable with tutoring ages kindy- year 3 in numeracy and literacy, but for nanny/ babysitting I am comfortable with all ages from baby- adolescents. I have taken care of babies throughout my teens helping aunts and uncles with babies around couples months old- casual babysitting whenever they need with kids all ages.

Tutoring Experience

I don’t have tutoring, but I am a student learning support officer who works with children individually to work on improving and strengthening skills in numeracy and literacy at a primary school with all ages kindergarten to year 6. I am also studying to become a primary school teacher.
