Hi ☺️ I’m a qualified Primary School Teacher from the UK, and I’ve spent the past year in Melbourne specialising in Visual Arts and Performing Arts, as well as teaching across all primary year levels. I’m now moving to Coogee and will be available throughout the summer holidays until early February ☺️ Teaching and working with children genuinely lights me up — I love creating fun, creative, confidence-building experiences and making every child feel safe, supported and celebrated. I bring warmth, reliability and a nurturing approach to every family that I work with, and I’d love to support your family over the holidays to create memorable, engaging days for your little ones ☺️ I have over four years of teaching and childcare experience, working with children aged 4–12 years, including those with additional needs/SEND. I’m patient, caring and always ensure that children feel comfortable, understood and well looked-after. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, experienced educator to help over the holidays — whether it’s babysitting, tutoring, play-based activities or general support — I’d love to connect and meet your family! ☺️
I have over four years of experience working as a Primary Teacher in England and Melbourne, in mainstream schools. My experience includes supporting and educating children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including children with ASD, ADHD, ADD, global developmental delay, language and speech delays, children receiving trauma support, and children who use LAMP devices.
I have over four years of experience working with children, both as a qualified teacher and in outside school hours care. I have cared for children aged 4–12 years in a school setting, and for children aged 2 years and older outside of school, including looking after my younger cousins in the UK.
Alongside my full-time classroom teaching role in the UK, I tutored children in Years 1, 2, and 6 in English and Maths twice a week. I taught Year 6 for one year, including preparing students for their national end-of-school assessments (SATs), and taught Year 2 for two years. I have experience teaching all primary age groups, from Prep to Year 6, in both the UK and Melbourne. Additionally, I tutored Year 4 and 5 children in the UK for their grammar school 11+ exams. I am flexible and happy to provide tutoring tailored to specific needs and requests. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Manchester and an LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology degree from the University of Sheffield.
