Hi Mums and Dads! I'm come from France and I have been in Australia for 4 years. I came here as an au pair for an Australian family - I looked after their 2 little boys for over a year and a half, from breakfast early in the morning till bedtime (when I arrived the 1st one was 8 months old and the mum was pregnant of the second one). I really enjoyed every single minute with them and we are still really close. I have a lot of experiences in France as well with older kids (from 3 to 13 years old). I have been doing babysitting since I was 16, I am now 27. Hi families! 😊 My name is Manon, I’m 30 years old and have been living in Australia for the past 7 years. I have extensive experience caring for children and truly love being around them. I worked as a full-time au pair for a beautiful Australian family for a year and a half—when I arrived, the mum was pregnant and their eldest was just 8 months old. I cared for both children from the time they were newborns through to toddlerhood, looking after them on my own throughout the day—from breakfast to bedtime. Each day, I planned fun and stimulating activities to keep them engaged and happy, including walks with the dog, playground adventures, arts and crafts, storytime, and lots of games and giggles. I’m patient, caring, creative, and genuinely enjoy helping children learn, laugh, and feel secure. Back in France, I also looked after older kids (up to 13 years old), and I’m comfortable helping with homework, preparing dinner, and supporting evening routines. I’m also happy to lend a hand with light household tasks like laundry, folding clothes, tidying up, and simple meal prep. I currently work full-time (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm) and I’m looking for extra hours outside of those times. I’d be happy to help with before and after school or daycare care—whether it’s an early start to give parents a bit more rest while I get the kids ready for the day, or afternoon pickups and evening routines. My godson is now 7 years old and once a week I was going to his place to help him with some of his homeworks : reading, counting, etc I don't have any diploma in particular for that but I'm really patient with kids and try every time to explain everything in the most simple way to make sure that they understand easily the lesson.
