Hi! I grew up in a country town and now live in Camperdown while studying Law and Psychology at University. I have extensive experience in childcare and tutoring. I spent my gap year working at a boarding school in Oxford, England, where I helped out in the classroom, ran afternoon activities, tutored students, and performed overnight and pastoral duties. Since then I’ve been an educator at an after school care where I support children day to day. I'm really looking forward to taking on a more personal role, meeting a family and being part of creating a space where kids feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. Some hobbies of mine include tennis, playing the piano, reading and jigsaw puzzles!
I’ve worked closely with children aged 2 to 12 through a few different roles over the past couple of years. I spent a year in England working full-time at a boarding school, where I helped with everything from classroom support and weekend trips to overnight care and pastoral responsibilities. More recently, I worked as an educator at an after-school care service here in Sydney, planning activities and helping to create a safe, positive environment for the kids each day. I'm comfortable working with all age groups and will soon be starting my honours year in developmental psychology, so I really value the chance to support kids as they grow and develop into confident, curious, and kind little people. What I find most rewarding is building real connections with children and being someone they can feel safe and relaxed around.
Particular expertise in Humanities subjects, and Maths up until grade 10. Experience working as a boarding matron and tutor at a junior school on my gap year. Also very knowledgeable with study skills and exam preparation/practice. I graduated high school with an ATAR of 98.65 and currently study Law and Psychology at Sydney University.
