I am a certificate qualified Early Childhood Educator. Parents value my loyal and complete commitment to quality care for their children, for which I have references. Indoors, I like to sing and read and assist children with creative activities. I enjoy being outdoors to explore the elements of nature. I believe that spending time in playgrounds and parks where children gain social skills and test their physical abilities is an important part for their physical, emotional and cognitive development. As a requirement of my qualification I worked in a bilingual professional child care setting where I gained valuable experience by working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds. I am a warm, caring and well educated person. Besides other qualifications I am holding the Certificate III in Early Childcare Education and Care. I have WWCC and a full driver licence. I maintain a healthy leisure and work balance. Therefore, ideally I can accommodate child minding 2 x per week up to 4 hours during the day, or 1 full day per week.

"It was a big decision deciding who to trust with caring for our first born. We met a lot of Nannie’s and Ellen was the shining star that stood out. She started caring for our son before he turned 1 or could walk. Ellen is a mature career nanny who is responsible, kind, caring, fun and reliable. She knows what she is doing in any situation. Our boy loved her from day one and always looked forward to spending his days with her. The adventures they went on were well outside of my imagination and I am so grateful that our son got to experience all the wonderful things he did with her. The only reason Ellen stopped caring for our son is she moved to qld. We would have kept her forever. Although far away we are still in touch and consider her an important person of our family. Childcare Experience

I have over ten years experience with all ages and also, I am a mother of an adult daughter. 3-4 hours 2-3 times per week in the morning starting in the new year would be perfect for me.

Tutoring Experience

I have no teaching qualification. As a native German speaker, I would like to assist those who are learning to speak German 🇩🇪 I.e. conversational skills, grammar. Any age group. I once worked in a bilingual child care centre in Sydney and was required to communicate with the children in German only. This is an immersive language learning approach and it works well, especially for young children. I am also a bilingual writer ✍🏻 (German/English).
