Hi all, my name is Fionnuala Cafferty and I am a 26 year old primary school teacher who has recently moved from Ireland to Sydney. I am available for nannying and/or babysitting work in the Eastern Suburbs. I am an experienced babysitter/ nanny having worked with children from the ages of 1-14 over the past 12 years. I have lots of experience working with children of all ages. ~I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with 4 years teaching experience. ~I have coached at football and sports camps. ~I have helped establish and run our GAA clubs nursery programme. ~I have worked at school summer camps. ~I have volunteered at local youth clubs. ~I have run wellbeing after school clubs. Special Needs Experience

I have experience working with and teaching children with a range of additional needs, including dyspraxia, ADHD, Autism and learning difficulties. I have taught children with additional needs in mainstream classes and also have experience working in autism classes.

Childcare Experience

I have been working with children for the past 13 years. I began babysitting when I was 13 years old and have 13 years experience minding children between the ages of 1-13. I have also coached in sports camps with children ranging from age 4-13 and volunteered at my local youth club at home. I am a primary school teacher who has experience teaching all class levels. Most of my teaching experience has been with infants (4-7 year olds), having taught Senior infants, first class and been the special education teacher for the junior/ infant classes. I really love working with this age group in particular as they are so enthusiastic and fun. In addition to teaching, I have helped set up and run the u7 Gaelic football nursery in my local GAA club and have also established a wellbeing club for children of this age in my school in Ireland.

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified primary school teacher in Ireland, so I have experience teaching all subjects in the curriculum. I would also be available to give tutoring or casual Irish language lessons to anyone who would be interested. At home I have given tutoring sessions to children in maths and literacy areas.
