Hi everyone, I’m Eileen. I’m 32 and a primary school teacher with 11 years experience from Ireland. I have lived in Dubai for one year also and have just moved to Bondi Junction. I also have an adorable nephew who I babysat once/twice a week independently since he turned 3 months old. I am very confident caring for newborn babies and toddlers as-well as older children. I have experience working with children with special educational needs. I’m a very reliable, organised and fun carer. I love spending time with children and worked as a swimming teacher for 6 years throughout university. I love to play tennis, go to yoga and pilates and enjoy walks near the beach. I love baking, arts and crafts, football, going to the park and activities which keep children happy and engaged! I am kind and responsible and will care for your child/children as if they were my own family.
I have 11 years of teaching experience, 5 of these years have been spent teaching special education.
I have been working as a primary school teacher for 11 years, ten years in Dublin Ireland and one year in Dubai. During university I worked as a lifeguard and taught swimming lessons for 6 years. I have a beautiful nephew Paddy, I have cared for him independently since he turned 3 months old twice a week to help out my brother and sister in law. A lot of my friends have babies and toddlers now and I love to spend time with them!
I have worked as a private department paid home tutor for children with an early autism diagnosis to develop their speech, build routines and to help parents get their children ready for preschool. I have worked as a Kip McGrath tutor for children who have needed some academic support. Most of these pupils have had a dyslexia and/or ADHD diagnosis. Some children were able, gifted and talented and needed further support to reach their full potential while studying at a higher grade level than provided in formal education.
