Hi mums and dads. I am a science and physical education high school teacher from Ireland and come from a big Irish family, with seven nieces and nephews that I regularly mind when I am at home in Ireland (ages 1-10 years old). I have years of experience in babysitting from when I was younger and have been teaching for almost 12 years. I have just moved to Sydney and would love to help out with any babysitting, nannying and / or tutoring over the next few weeks before I start applying for teaching jobs. I have my WWC checks and police clearing all sorted already.

Childcare Experience

I have been teaching high school students for the last 11 years, but I have lots of experience with younger children also. I regularly mind my nieces and nephews (age range 1-10 years old) and also have years of experience of babysitting from when I was in school and university. I love sports and also have some experience coaching some of the youth rugby teams at my old rugby club (ages 8 - 12 approx) and have volunteered at other local sports events for children.

Tutoring Experience

I worked in an all through school which had primary and high school aged students in it. Although I was mainly teaching high school students, I have also taught some science to our primary students over the past 11 years. I have taught Biology, Chemistry and Physics to year 10 and Biology to Y12 in my old school. I was also the head of the science department for 3 years before becoming an Assistant Principal in my previous school.
