Hi my name is Ella. I'm originally from Ireland, living in Coogee NSW for the past 6 years. I have heaps of experience in childcare both in Ireland and Australia. I worked as a nanny for 1 year in Aus, minding babies and toddlers from under 1yo up to children aged 7yo. In Ireland I nannyed for a family of 4, as well as working in a childcare centre during the summer months. I also have a mini army of nieces and nephews back home who I love taking care of. I am currently working as a part-time yoga teacher and am available to nanny 3-4 days per week as well as babysitting during the evenings and at weekends. I have a full UK driver's license. I hope to hear from you soon, please dont hessitate to contact me regarding any queries you may have.

    Special Needs Experience

During my time working in the Sure Start programme I had hands on training working with a number of youngs boys all under the age of 4 who were diagnosed with ADHD and a little girl with Angleman Syndrome. I absolutely loved getting to know these bright and brilliant children and having the opportunity to learn and play with them on a daily basis.

    Childcare Experience

My previous experience in childcare includes 5 years of child minding for a couple with 4 young children between the ages of 2 and 7. I loved working for the family and always tried to have as much with the 3 girls and their younger brother as I possibly could. They enjoyed going for walks, building forts, helping to make a mess in the kitchen and never going to bed on time. I am still very close to the family, especially the girls all being in their late teens; they are more like sisters. (Even though I already have 4 of those) At the age of 18 I spent 3 months (summer position) working in a crèche for two year olds, which ran from 8:30am until 4:30pm. At which time I was considering taking on a degree in childcare. This was an amazing opportunity for me and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to help and learn more about the early development stages of young children. More recently in Australia I spent 5 months nannying 5 days a week for a family in Zetland and absolutely adored caring for their 9 month old baby girl. I also stayed 3 months working on a farm as a nanny to a little girl who was just 14 months old. I did this generally from 6am to 6pm 7 days a week. I really enjoyed my time here and despite being slightly over cautious at first about going outside (as there aren’t as many deadly spiders or snakes in Ireland) we managed to persevere. I come from a large family with 6 older brothers and sisters and have an ever growing number of nieces and nephews. Therefore having a lot of experience with young infants and toddlers.
