Dear Mums and Dads My name is Mary, I have been a student at often Tafe for 4 years now studying my diploma and certificate III in children's services, I currently have completed my cert III in children's services and am now finalising my studies for my diploma in children's services. I started becoming interested in working with children back in 2011 when my principal at my school suggested that I do some work placement at a local childcare centre in Albion Park. thats when I decided that I wanted to start a career in early education and care, I started doing some work here and there at various childcare centres in Sydney ,then when I turned 20 I decided to do my diploma in childrens services. I have done some work placement during my studies at a centre in koonawarra working with children from 0-2, where I picked up various skills such as nappy changing, observations, feeding, dressing and putting children to sleep .
