Hi! I am half American half Japanese but have lived in Australia since I was 9 years old! I have been babysitting since I was in high school and absolutely love connecting and empowering children. As a youngest child in my family of five, I understand the different needs, interests and engagements children need to feel supported, stimulated but not suffocated or belittled. I have a Working with Children’s Check and first aid training. I have a nut allergy myself so I am well versed in the realm of allergy management. I previously worked in a library and currently in a cinema as I’m a big film nerd and an actor! Being an actor means I have a big imagination and love to play and tell stories. I have always found kids to be entertaining storytellers, creative and of course curious - something I try to implement more in my daily life and my roles. Since I moved around from Japan, America to now Australia as a child, I am very good to adapting to environments and love meeting new people and differnt cultures from around the world. I can also speak Japanese fluently! I am looking for work a few times a week that would work around my cinema job, as well as auditions. Mornings work brilliantly for me and I can also be free for certain evenings and school pick up times.
