Hi families, My name is Cíara and I have recently moved to Sydney from Ireland. Childcare Experience

I have been looking after children for 13 years, I first started babysitting for a family in my home town when I was 12 years old. Since then I have helped many families with different age groups varying from newborn to 12 years of age. Recently I have gain over two and a half years of experience in a full day care preschool which we had groups of mixed ages from 2-5 years of age. Childcare is truely rewarding for several reasons, first making a positive impact on children’s lives, helping them learn and grow and watching them develop new skills and reach new milestones is very fulfilling. Second, building strong relationships with the children and their families creates a sense of community and connection. Lastly, the joy and laughter that children bring can make each day unique and enjoyable, providing a sense of purpose and happiness in my work. Overall in my opinion, it’s a role that combines responsibility with the joy of nurturing young minds.
