Hi mums and dads, I grew up in a big family with two younger brothers, so l've had plenty of experience caring for children from a young age. I also have 2 years of professional experience working in a daycare, where I supported children's development in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. I hold a current First Aid certificate and a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC). Childcare Experience
I worked for two years at Skyline British Montessori & Day Care in Sri Lanka, caring for children aged 2–6 years and above in a warm, Montessori-inspired environment. I planned and led daily activities—like reading, sensory play, and basic math—tailored to each child’s needs. I kept the classroom safe and clean, supervised indoor and outdoor play, and followed all health and emergency procedures. I also stayed in close touch with parents, sharing updates on their children’s progress, and helped organize fun events and story-time sessions to encourage creativity and social skills.
