Hi there! I genuinely love spending time with kids and always want the best for them. I’ve grown up helping take care of my little brother (who’s not so little anymore!), as well as younger cousins and family friends. I’ve also worked as a youth soccer referee and camp counsellor, so I’m comfortable managing energy, routines and keeping children engaged. Creativity is one of my strengths, and I often incorporate it into playtime through arts and crafts, storytelling, and imaginative games. I also have two cats who are like my own children and I just love animals in general!

Childcare Experience

I’ve been looking after younger children for as long as I can remember. My younger brother is now 15, and I spent much of his early years helping care for him and his friends. When I attended after-school care and holiday programs myself, I naturally took younger children under my wing. I regularly care for my younger cousins, who are 6 and 4. They recently moved to Japan from Sydney but still visit often. I also help look after one of my mum’s best friend’s four daughters, who are between the ages of 4 and 8. I’ve worked as a youth soccer referee for kids aged 7 to 11 and as a camp counsellor for children aged 8 to 14. I also used to babysit two girls aged 4 and 7. My primary school years were very challenging, and I often wished I’d had someone who could help me feel understood and confident. That experience has shaped how I care for children. I aim to create a safe, warm, and encouraging environment where they feel supported and free to be themselves.
