Hi mums and dads! 👋 My name is Maria, I’m from Brazil, and I currently work as a Support Worker! I’ve always loved being around children! I have a younger brother, six little cousins, and a beautiful 5-year-old goddaughter, so being around little ones has always been a big part of my life. I also have a background in Aged Care and hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, as well as training in Safe Swallowing, Dysphagia and IDDSI. This has given me valuable experience in providing safe, attentive and person-centred care, particularly around meals and supporting individual needs. I’m caring, patient, responsible and friendly, and I really enjoy creating a fun and safe environment where children can feel comfortable and be themselves. Childcare Experience
I’ve been caring for children since 2020. My childcare journey started during the pandemic, when I began looking after my little cousin, who was only 6 months old at the time. What started as helping my family soon became a full-time job, and that’s when I discovered how much I genuinely enjoy working with children! After moving to Sydney, I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to work at a childcare centre within my first few months here. I work mostly with babies and toddlers, but I also have experience caring for preschool-aged children.
