Hi there! I am caring, compassionate, reliable and I love working with kids. I have held various babysitting and nannying jobs over the last 8 years, including an au pair role in the UK in 2020. I have a Bachelor of Arts (Pathway to Primary Teaching) from Western Sydney University and currently work full time as a Senior Literacy Tutor. I hold a valid police check and WWCC, and am a certified first aid provider. I have also studied 2 years of a Bachelor of Nursing before I transferred to teaching. I have my licence and my own car. Regarding my availability, my work hours are 7am-3:15pm so I am looking for some one-off and/or regular afternoon and evening jobs.
I have been doing casual babysitting for family, friends and neighbours since I was about 15. In January 2020, I moved to London to work as a live-in au pair. This role required me to assist in and support the daily routines of two little boys (3 year old and a 10 month old baby), from when they woke up each morning until they went to sleep at night. I have also worked as a casual OOSH educator (providing before and after school care to primary school children) at a local primary school, hence I am both confident and experienced in looking after children of all ages. While I am very organised, responsible, and have plenty of patience to deal with the tougher moments of childcare, I am also not afraid to get a bit messy and have some fun!
I was very academic in high school, graduating with an ATAR over 90, and several band 6s. I particularly excelled in music, drama, english, and history. Throughout high school, I tutored my peers informally, and provided homework and assignment help to my siblings and cousins.
