Hi mums and dads, my name is Miyah (preferred name). I’m currently working at a preschool in Sydney, where I support the learning and development of young children through play-based, nurturing, and engaging experiences. I have over eight years of experience teaching English to children in Indonesia, Turkey, and Spain, and more than a year of hands-on experience in early childhood settings here in Australia. I hold a Certificate III and am studying my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I’m warm, patient, and dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children to grow and thrive.
I’ve been looking after children for over nine years. My experience includes teaching English to children overseas and currently working in a preschool in Sydney, where I support the learning and development of 3- to 5-year-olds. I feel most comfortable working with toddlers and preschool-aged children because I really enjoy helping them learn through play and guiding them through important stages of development. What I find most rewarding about childcare is building strong, trusting relationships with children and being part of their journey as they grow, gain confidence, and explore the world around them.
