Hi, I'm Jocelyn! As a mum to a toddler, I have plenty of hands-on experience with daily routines, play, meals, sleep, and responding to children's individual needs. Alongside parenting, I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, which is helping me build on my practical experience with evidence-based knowledge. I'm currently most comfortable caring for babies and toddlers, and I enjoy creating a calm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported and engaged. I'm also happy to care for children in the comfort of their own home, helping to keep their routines as familiar and consistent as possible. I also have several years of hospitality and commercial kitchen experience, so I'm confident preparing meals and snacks, maintaining a clean and organised environment, and helping with light household tasks related to the children while they're resting or playing. For your peace of mind, I hold a current **HLTAID012 First Aid** certification and my **Queensland Blue Card has been approved**. I'm currently waiting for the physical card to arrive, but I'm happy to provide my approval email or Blue Card details upon request. As I'm currently building my professional babysitting experience and reputation, I'm offering an **introductory rate of $20 per hour**. At this stage, I'm looking for occasional babysitting opportunities that fit around my university studies and my daughter's daycare days.
