Hi there, I am an Irish qualified primary school teacher with an additional post graduate diploma in Inclusive Learning Support and Special Educational Needs. I have six years teaching experience and have tutored throughout my teaching career. I have a range of experience with children both professionally and also working with family members and nannying. *I will be teaching full time during the year and will be unavailable during school hours during term time*
As previously mentioned I have a post grad degree in Inclusive Learning Support and Special Educational Needs. I worked as a teacher in an autism specific class for two years in Ireland and facilitated an autism specific programme (July provision) working with 3 students at a time. I also have personal experience working with children/young adults/adults with special needs.
I have been looking after children from the age of 15, casually babysitting for family friends. I also worked as a 'house mother' for 4 years at a local summer camp where my responsibility was to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students in a boarding setting for two weeks at a time(age 11-17) I am most comfortable caring for children 3+ but comfortable with younger years also.
I graduated as a Primary School Teacher in 2015. I have tutored along side teaching since I began my teaching degree in 2013. In Ireland, I worked as a traditional Irish music teacher and in an Irish language summer camp. In Australia I have tutored students from year 1-6. I have a keen interest in sport and worked as a watersports instructor in Ireland and in numerous sport camps. I also enjoy integrating sport, art and music into lessons to make learning as enjoyable as possible.
